How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments vary with each person and their condition. Treatments may be spaced one week to one month apart. Many clients love to come in once a month to freshen up their skin and help with congestion and cellular turnover.

How long does a procedure take?

Procedure time varies with each person.  The time will depend on the skin condition and the area being treated.

How long before I notice results?

Patients will notice improvement in the texture and appearance of their skin immediately after their first treatment.

Will I experience discomfort during treatment?

Initially, you may feel a mild scratching sensation as the crystals make contact with your skin. This sensation has been compared to an emery board passing along the surface of the skin. As the treatments continue, this experience compares to a deep massage.

What are Microdermabrasions like?

They are safe on any skin color or type. During the treatment, micro-crystals are sprayed out and vacuumed up through a hand piece held at a precise angle to your skin. This results in a gentle to more aggressive abrasion of the top layers of skin, depending on the desired result or goal.

When should I have additional treatments?

Additional treatments are recommended from one to four weeks, again depending on your goal. The number of treatments for maximum results is two to 12. Many people like to have maintenance Microdermabrasions each season to keep their skin healthy and glowing!

What will I look like after a treatment?

Your skin will be pink to red after a treatment for up to 30 minutes, depending on your sensitivity. Make-up may be applied immediately after treatment.
