How do I know if I am a canidate for Collagen?

A Collagen test is administered into your forearm four weeks before the procedure to determine if you have a sensitivity to the implants. Nintey-seven percent of men and women tested can be treated with Collagen Fillers. If your are allergic to Collagen, Restylane would be a good option for you.

Will I see immediate results with Collagen/Restylane?

Patients experience immediate, visible results. Treatment with Collagen implants/Restylane is an easy and effective way to smooth lines, wrinkles, scars and the lip border. An immediate, visible difference in the patient's apperance is achieved in one treatment session.

What areas can be treated with Collagen & Restylane?

Collagen implants are suggested for the correction of contouring of the dermis in non-weight bearing areas. These implants have been successful in many areas of the body to correct distensible acne scaring, between the eyes frown lines, lines around the mouth and other induced irregularities or tissue defects.

Restylane can be used for smoothing out folding and wrinkles, lip enhancements and shaping for common areas on the face such as: between the eyebrows, the nasolabial folds, and the lips; although other sites can be treated.

What will I look like after the treatment?

Immediately following the treatment, you can expect slight redness, swelling, tenderness or an itching area. This is a normal result of the injection. The discomfort is temporary and generally disappear soon after treatment.
